Fordingbridge Day Nursery is in an ideal location for transport between, Bournemouth, Ringwood, Salisbury and Southampton.
We wish to provide a happy and emotionally secure environment where children in our care can trust us to meet their emotional and physical needs, where they have the freedom to develop at their own pace, and know they will be valued for who they are.
To provide flexible care routines that are based around the individual child. To offer childcare for parents who need to work and who require early starts or late finishes.
To establish ongoing partnerships with parents with the help of our tablet system, EY Log- where parents can see and comment on their child’s progress and development and have access to their child’s key person.
Our staff team are professional and highly qualified. We employ staff for their unique abilities, natural enthusiasm and their enjoyment of working with young children.
We believe that children in our care should spend time in an environment where they feel comfortable, secure and nurtured by those around them. Our staff are highly qualified, all of whom are trained in both first aid and safeguarding children.
All rooms at the Nursery have direct access to large outdoor play areas. We take the safety and security of the children very seriously and all areas are fully securely enclosed. We offer;
An all-weather front area for all kinds of play, but especially developing physical skills.
-
- Paved and lawn area directly outside the Robins and Woodpecker rooms to promote free flow, outside play and which recognises that children are often more comfortable accessing learning in the outside environment rather than inside
- A dedicated area for babies to explore and play in with a sand pit, den, water and sensory play; a safe place for them learn to crawl and walk in.
- We have a vegetable patch, fruit trees, bug garden, mud kitchen, willow dens
- A large grassed area at the back and side to encourage discovery imagination and investigation
